The Summits of Minds, powered by the Monthly Barometer for its community members, combine high-level, cutting edge content with inspiring contributors sourced from public life, politics, business, academia, and civil society. These gatherings, held over a number of days, in outstanding locations, afford participants direct access to diverse individuals and ideas, based on the ‘strength of weak ties’ and serendipitous encounters in an atmosphere of mutual trust, partnership, and open conversation. Prominent thinkers and practitioners feed into a carefully crafted programme and frame the conversation, but everybody is a speaker. These top-level gatherings offer a unique blend of hard thinking and learning with mindfulness and discovery.

The “good4nature” prize is awarded to a start-up that operates at the confluence of Nature and Tech. More specifically, start-ups bidding for the “good4nature” prize must contribute positively in one or several of the following six categories: (1) Increasing biodiversity; (2) Improving recycling; (3) Protecting forests; (4) Cutting air pollution; (5) Minimising food waste; (6) Reducing sewage pollution. The inaugural prize was awarded in September 2021 in Chamonix.

This is the ambitious promise we make to our participants that they will walk away from a MB Summit of Minds inspired by tangible outcomes and enriched by new connections.
An already exceptional atmosphere is further enhanced by an offering of shared experiential activities. At a MB Summit of Minds you might find yourself dancing at a traditional Armenian dance with the country’s President, mastering your fear of heights suspended on the end of a mountain rope, releasing the artist within you at a hands-on workshop or making the most of the mental and physical wellbeing booster offered by an animated ‘walkshop’.
